To Be Gifted and Learning Disabled: Strategies for Helping Bright Students with LD, ADHD, and More Review

We have an academically gifted 7 year old son with increasing ADHD problems so I have been scouring the books for help. I grabbed this book with great excitement but was disappointed. It is not bad, but I learned very little that would be useful to my particular situation. The coverage is wide when I was looking for narrow. Lots of LDs covered so not much about ADHD specifically, lots of areas of giftedness covered so not much about high IQ/academically gifted kids. Maybe my market is too small to serve but I am still rather lost since most of the ADHD books assume your kid is struggling academically but even with his behavior issues he is years ahead of his class in all academic areas but can't sit still and hold it together to save his life.
