When I began reading this book the day I received in the mail, I shed alot of tears for the pain that one must endure being a MOM to her beautiful sons and how we must accept what God brings into our lives, whether we brought it on ourselves, or whether others have brought into our lives. Either way, we must endure...
This is a well-written story of how addictions take control of our lives and no matter how hard we work at it, we loose our sense of being and then the journey leads us to death, a death on this earth but not in the heavens with Jesus. I am not going to pretend that there were times, when I was reading this story, that I got mad at Chris, but Chris has taught me about the unhealthy control that addictions can have, a stonge-hold that many of us do not understand unless we experience it. Thank you Marilyn & Chris for the spiritual experience and the understanding of addictions and I am so truly sorry for you both to have had to travel this journey, but you both did together and you will be together again, maybe not right now, but in Gods' time...
