First off, this book is actually FREE on their website - [...]. The only reasons to purchase it are if you do not have access to the internet or if you want a hard copy. I had just found it online and read through some of it, so I decided to see if there were any reviews of the book online. After reading the reviews on here, I just wanted to make note that the book is a non-profit public charity, which is why they provide it free online. It does tell you (as mentioned in other reviews) to take specific supplements and gives you a specific website to purchase them from (they cannot sell them since they are a non-profit charity); but I'm sure that you could go to your local drugstore if you wanted to try alternative options. The author does explain that he did years of research on getting the best and most efficient supplements, dosages, etc. to allow the individual to taper off of psychoactive medications while experiencing the least amount of side effects and withdrawal symptoms. He also specifically tells the reader to make sure that his or her physician is consulted before starting the program. On another note, the 2010 version of this book says it offers help to additional symptomatic individuals that was not available in previous versions. I am not necessarily endorsing this book, as I have yet to try the program, I just wanted individuals to have a fair review other than it being a scam or one big advertisement. The website also offers free support - not medical advice - via phone or e-mail.
As for my 4 star rating...I "like" what I've read so far, which is what a 4-star is.
